I'm always working in slick edit in a workspace with heaps of files (several thousand). I'm always using the open dialog that lets me type the name of the file and shows results as I type. Now I'm not sure if this is possible, I know little about slick edit macros, but what I'd really like to see is the file matches sorted by recent access instead of alphabetically. Any ideas?

I've been using Slick Edit for years but my macro knowledge is a bit lacking. Can a SE'08 macro clean up CR,LF erros? (like replace lines ending with CR,LF,CR with CR,LF. Or better yet, any kind of line ending with CR,LF).

Hi,

Thanks for the macros - I've used your switchbuf_cd code to add a gui_open_cd command that shows the file open window with the directory of the file I'm currently editing.

There a couple of problems with the macro though (at least as far as using it with Slickedit v12 on Linux) - the path and status variables need to be declared (as _str and int respectively) and the message call needs parentheses around the arguments.

Try setting the property p_line to max_linenum at the end, to move to the longest line found. It works for me.
